«Candy and a Currant Bun» var B-sida til den første singelen til Pink Floyd, «Arnold Layne».[1]</ref> Då songen vart spelt på konsertar i 1967 heitte han «Let's Roll Another One»[1] og inneheld linja «I'm high - Don't try to spoil my fun», men plateselskapet tvinga Syd Barrett til å skrive om songen utan dei kontroversielle dopreferansane..[2] Det var første songen med Waters-skriket, som dukka opp igjen på fleire andre Pink Floyd-songar, som «Careful with that Axe, Eugene», «Run Like Hell» og andre.

The Mars Volta
[endre | endre wikiteksten]The Mars Volta spelte «Candy and a Currant Bun» og gav han ut som singel på 5" VinylDisc. Han vart gjeven bort gratis ved kjøp av albumet The Bedlam in Goliath. VinylDisc er eit format som har ei digital side og ei vinylside. Den eine sida kan spelast i ein CD-spelar og den andre på ein platespelar.
Songen vart gjeven ut som bonusspor på den britiske og australasiatiske utgåva av albumet.
