Dit sjabloon controleert of de gebruikersnaam eruitziet als een IP-adres. Heeft de gebruikersnaam de structuur van een IPv4- of IPv6-adres, dan wordt aangenomen dat het ook daadwerkelijk een IP-adres is en wordt ((Waarschuwing-anoniem)) getoond. Bij gebruikersnamen die er niet uitzien als een IP-adres wordt ((Waarschuwing-gebruiker)) getoond.
Hierdoor komt een waarschuwing voor een anonieme gebruiker niet op de overlegpagina van een aangemelde gebruiker te staan.
