Earl Strickland

Earl Strickland (Hendersonville, 8 juni 1961) is een Amerikaans pool-biljarter. Hij won onder meer het wereldkampioenschap 9-ball in zowel 1990, 1991 als 2002. Strickland werd in 2006 opgenomen in de Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fame.

Strickland speelde zijn eerste professionele pooltoernooi op vijftienjarige leeftijd. De Amerikaan staat erom bekend dat hij nooit een blad voor de mond neemt. Daardoor belandt hij bij tijd en wijle in verhitte woordenwisselingen met zowel medespelers als met scheidsrechters en mensen in het publiek. Tijdens de Mosconi Cup van 2006 brak Strickland uit frustratie zijn keu na een gemiste bal tegen Thomas Engert.
