Valentiniaanse dynastie
De Valentiniaanse dynastie is een dynastie van Romeinse keizers die in het West-Romeinse Rijk van 364 tot 392 en in het Oost-Romeinse Rijk van 364 tot 378 aan de macht was. Deze dynastie bestaat uit vier keizers.
De keizers in het West-Romeinse Rijk:
- Valentinianus I (364-375)
- De oudste zoon van Valentinianus, Gratianus (375-378)
- De andere zoon van Valentinianus, Valentinianus II (375-392)
De keizer in het Oost-Romeinse Rijk:
- De broer van Valentinianus, Valens (364-378)
Deze dynastie is verbonden met de Theodosiaanse dynastie. De dochter van Valentinianus I, Galla, trouwde in 387 met Theodosius I. Hun dochter, Galla Placidia, zou de moeder van de latere West-Romeinse keizer Valentinianus III worden.
