အင်ဒီပန်းဒန့် (အင်္ဂလိပ်: the Independent) သည် ဗြိတိသျှ အွန်လိုင်းသတင်းစာတစ်စောင်ဖြစ်သည်။ မနက်ပိုင်း ပုံနှိပ်သတင်းစာအဖြစ် ၁၉၆၈ တွင် တည်ထောင်ခဲ့၍ အမည်ပြောင်အားဖြင့် the Indy ဟု ခေါ်ဆိုကြကာ မူလအစ၌ ဆိုက်ကြီးသတင်းစာဖြစ်သော်လည်း၂၀၀၃ တွင် ဆိုက်သေး (tabloid) အဖြစ်ပြောင်းလဲဖြန့်ချိခဲ့ကြသည်။[၄] နောက်ဆုံးပုံနှိပ်ထုတ်ဝေခြင်းနေ့စွဲသည် ၂၀၁၆ မတ် ၂၆ ဖြစ်၍ အွန်လိုင်းအသွင်ဖြင့် ရပ်တည်ခဲ့သည်။[၅]
သတင်းစာသည် ငွေရေးကြေးရေးကိစ္စများအပေါ် လွတ်လပ်၍ ထိန်းချုပ်မှုမဲ့ ဈေးကွက် (pro-market) တွင် ရပ်တည်ရန်ရည်ရွယ်သည်။[၆] သတင်းစာကို တိုနီ အို'ရေးလီ၏ အိုင်းရစ် "Independent News & Media" က ၁၉၉၇ အထိ ပိုင်ဆိုင်ခဲ့ပြီး ၂၀၁၀ တွင် ရုရှားသူဌေး အလက်ဇန္ဒား လဲ့ဘဲ့ဒဲ့ဗ် (Lebedev) ထံသို့ရောင်းချခဲ့၍[၇] ၂၀၁၇ တွင် ဆော်ဒီရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံသူတစ်ဦးက ရှယ်ရာ ၃၀ % ဝယ်ယူခဲ့သည်။[၈]
၂၀၁၅ ဇွန်၌ သတင်းစာစောင်ရေသည် ၅၈,၀၀၀ အောက်သာရှိခဲ့ရာ ၁၉၉၀ က အမြင့်ဆုံးရောင်းချရနှုန်းထက် ၈၅ % ကျဆင်းခဲ့သည်။ တစ်ဖက်တွင် တနင်္ဂနွေထုတ်ဝေမူသည်လည်း စောင်ရေ ၉၇,၀၀၀ ကျော်အထက်သာ ရှိခဲ့၏ ။[၅][၉] နေ့စဉ်ထုတ်ဝေမူသည် ၂၀၀၄ တွင် ဗြိတိသျှ စာနယ်ဇင်းဆု (Press Award) ၏ တစ်နှစ်တာ အမျိုးသား သတင်းစာဆုအဖြစ် ချီးမြှင့်ခြင်းခံခဲ့ရသည်။ ဤသတင်းစာ၏ ဝဘ်ဆိုက်နှင့် မိုဘိုင်းအပ်(ပ်) နှစ်ခုပေါင်း၌ ဝင်ရောက်ကြည့်ရှု/ဖတ်ရှုသူ လစဉ် ၂၂ သန်းကျော်ရှိသည်။[၁၀]
