Lukas 21
Lukas 21 ialah bab kedua puluh satu Injil Lukas dalam Perjanjian Baru Alkitab Kristian . Ia merekodkan pemerhatian dan ramalan Yesus Kristus yang disampaikan di kuil di Yerusalem, [1] dan nasihatnya "untuk berjaga-jaga". [2] Buku yang mengandungi bab ini adalah tanpa nama, tetapi tradisi Kristian awal secara seragam menegaskan bahawa Lukas Penginjil mengarang Injil ini serta Kisah Para Rasul . [3]

Uskup Agung Ireland John McEvilly mengulas bahawa
The day of the Lord shall insnare unto ruin and destruction, those men who "sit", in idleness and unconcern, absorbed in the enjoyment of sensual and illicit pleasures, with all their thoughts on earth, just as a snare catches those birds that settle on the earth when they least expect it, while the birds that are borne aloft in air escape it.[2]
Dia mencatat 1 Tesalonika 5:2-3, Yesaya 24:17 dan Mazmur 10:7 (Vulgate numbering), Ke atas orang jahat dia akan menghujani jerat, api dan belerang, sebagai persembahan teks yang sebanding. [2]
