ഫ്രഞ്ച് ഇംപ്രഷനിസ്റ്റ് ചിത്രകാരനായ ബെർത്ത് മോറിസോട്ട് വരച്ച ചിത്രമാണ് സമ്മർസ് ഡേ (അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ജോർ ഡി എറ്റെ). പൊതു പാർക്കായ ബോയിസ് ഡി ബൊലോണിൽ തോണിതുഴയുന്ന ഒരു ബോട്ടിൽ രണ്ട് സ്ത്രീകൾ ഇരിക്കുന്നതായി ചിത്രീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.[1]
മോറിസോട്ട് ഈ പെയിന്റിംഗിൽ അസാധാരണമായ ഒരു പാലറ്റ് ഉപയോഗിച്ചു.[2] ഇടത് വശത്തുള്ള സ്ത്രീയുടെ കടും നീല കോട്ട് അവർ ഇംപ്രഷനിസ്റ്റുകൾ അപൂർവ്വമായി ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്ന സെറൂലിയൻ നീല കൊണ്ട് വരച്ചു. മരതകപ്പച്ച, വിരിഡിയൻ, ലെഡ് വൈറ്റ്, കാഡ്മിയം മഞ്ഞ എന്നിവയുടെ മിശ്രിതത്തിലാണ് പച്ച ഇലകൾ വരച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. കാഡ്മിയം മഞ്ഞ ഈ സമയത്ത് വ്യാപകമായി ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല.[3]
1959 മുതൽ ലണ്ടനിലെ നാഷണൽ ഗാലറിയും ഡബ്ലിനിലെ ഹഗ് ലെയ്ൻ ഗാലറിയും തമ്മിൽ തർക്കത്തിലുള്ള ലെയ്ൻ ബെക്വസ്റ്റിന്റെ ഭാഗമായ പെയിന്റിംഗിന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥാവകാശം പങ്കിട്ടു. [4]നാഷണൽ ഗാലറിയും ഡബ്ലിൻ ഗാലറിയും തമ്മിലുള്ള ഉടമസ്ഥാവകാശ തർക്കം 2019-ൽ പരിഹരിക്കേണ്ടതായിരുന്നു.
1956 ഏപ്രിൽ 12-ന്, ലണ്ടനിലെ ടേറ്റ് ഗാലറിയിൽ നിന്ന് രണ്ട് ഐറിഷ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളായ പോൾ ഹോഗൻ, ബില്ലി ഫോഗാർട്ടി എന്നിവർ ചിത്രം മോഷ്ടിച്ചു. അവിടെ പ്രദർശിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, ഹഗ് ലെയ്ൻ വസ്‌തുക്കളോടുള്ള അയർലണ്ടിന്റെ അവകാശവാദം ഉയർത്തിക്കാട്ടുന്നതിനായി അവർ അത് മോഷ്ടിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് ഐറിഷ് എംബസിയിൽ അജ്ഞാതമായി ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച ശേഷം ചിത്രം വീണ്ടെടുത്തു.[5][6][7]
