മണ്ഡലൈ Mandalay (/ˌmændəˈleɪ//ˌmændəˈleɪ/ or /ˈmændəleɪ//ˈmændəleɪ/; ബർമ്മീസ്: မန္တလေး; MLCTS: manta.le:မန္တလေးബർമ്മീസ്: မန္တလေး; MLCTS: manta.le:MLCTSബർമ്മീസ്: မန္တလေး; MLCTS: manta.le: [màɴdəlé]) മ്യാന്മാറിലെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ വലിയ പട്ടണമാണ്. ഇതിരാവതി നദിയുടെ കിഴക്കൻ തീരത്ത് തലസ്ഥാനമായ യംഗോണിനു 445 mi (716 km) വടക്കു സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. മണ്ഡലൈയിൽ 1,225,553 (2014 census) ആണു ജനസംഖ്യ.
ബർമ്മയുടെ സാംസ്കാരികകേന്ദ്രമായി അറിയപ്പെറ്റുന്ന മണ്ഡലൈ അപ്പർ മ്യാന്മാറിന്റെ വാണിജ്യകേന്ദ്രവും കൂടിയാണ്.കഴിഞ്ഞ ഇരുപതുവർഷത്തോളമായുള്ള ഈ നഗരത്തിലേയ്ക്കുള്ള ചൈനീസ് വംശജരുടെ വരവ് (പ്രത്യേകിച്ചും യുന്നാൻ പ്രവിശ്യയിൽനിന്നും) ഇവിടത്തെ വംശ അനുപാതം വ്യത്യാസപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇത് ചൈനയുമായുള്ള വ്യാപാരം മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്താൻ കാരണമായി. Despite Naypyidaw's recent rise, Mandalay remains Upper Burma's main commercial, educational and health center.
