മാനേജ്‌മെന്റിൽ ഈ അവസ്ഥയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം, നന്നായി യോജിക്കുന്ന ബ്രാ ഉപയോഗിക്കൽ, ആവശ്യമെങ്കിൽ വേദനയ്ക്കുള്ള മരുന്ന് എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടേക്കാം.[1] വേദനയ്ക്ക് ഇടയ്ക്കിടെ ഡാനാസോൾ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ടാമോക്സിഫെൻ ഉപയോഗിക്കാം.[1] 60% വരെ സ്ത്രീകളെ ബാധിക്കുന്നതായി കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.[3] ഏറ്റവും സാധാരണയായി 30 നും 50 നും ഇടയിൽ പ്രായമുള്ളവരാണ്.[1]
