ഒരു നീലി ചിത്രശലഭമാണ് ഓർക്കിഡ്‌ നീലി (ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്: Orchid Tit). Chliaria othona എന്ന ശാസ്ത്രീയ നാമത്തിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു.[2][3][4][5]
ആവാസം
[തിരുത്തുക]കർണാടക, കേരളം, മഹാരാഷ്ട്ര, അരുണാചൽ പ്രദേശ്, ആന്ധ്രാപ്രദേശ്‌, ആസാം, ഒറീസ്സ, മേഘാലയ, പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാൾ എന്നീ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും ഇവയെ കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ജനുവരി,മാർച്ച്-ജൂൺ,ഓഗസ്റ്റ്-ഡിസംബർ മാസങ്ങളിലാണ് ഇവയെ കാണാറുള്ളത് .[6] ഇവയുടെ ശലഭ-ലാർവകളുടെ ഭക്ഷണസസ്യങ്ങളിലൊന്ന് ഉപ്പുതാളിയാണ്.[7]
