ഹെർത സ്പോണെർ (1 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 1895 - 27 ഫെബ്രുവരി 1968) ജർമ്മൻ ഭൗതികശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞയും, രസതന്ത്രജ്ഞയുമായിരുന്നു. ആധുനിക ക്വാണ്ടം മെക്കാനിക്സും മോളികുലാർ ഫിസിക്സും സംഭാവന ചെയ്ത സ്പോണെർ ഡ്യൂക്ക് സർവ്വകലാശാലയിലെ ഫിസിക്സ് ഫാക്കൽറ്റിയുടെ ആദ്യ വനിതയായിരുന്നു.
ജീവിതവും തൊഴിലും
[തിരുത്തുക]പ്രഷ്യൻ സൈലേഷ്യയിലെ നീസെയിൽ (നൈസ) സ്പോണെർ ജനിച്ചു. നീസെയിൽ നിന്ന് ഹൈസ്കൂൾ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നേടി. തുബിൻഗെൻ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിൽ ഒരു വർഷത്തോളം അവൾ ചെലവഴിക്കുകയും പിന്നീട് സ്പോണെർ ഗോട്ടിങ്ങൻ സർവ്വകലാശാലയിൽ ചേരുകയും 1920-ൽ പീറ്റർ ഡെബിയുടെ മേൽനോട്ടത്തിൽ അവിടെ നിന്ന് പി.എച്ച്.ഡി എടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
