രഞ്ജിത്ത് ശങ്കർ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് 2014 ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ മലയാളചലച്ചിത്രമാണ് വർഷം.[2] മമ്മൂട്ടി, ആശ ശരത് എന്നിവർ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളായ ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ ടി.ജി. രവി, പ്രതിനായക കഥാപാത്രത്തെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.[3][4] മംമ്ത മോഹൻദാസ്, ഗോവിന്ദ് പദ്മസൂര്യ, മാസ്റ്റർ പ്രജ്വാൾ തുടങ്ങിയവർ പ്രധാന സഹകഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.[5] ബിജിബാൽ ആണ് ഈ സിനിമക്ക് സംഗീതം നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നത് .[6] 2014 നവംബർ 6 ന് വർഷം ലോകമെമ്പാടും റിലീസ് ചെയ്തു. പൊതുവിൽ നിരൂപക പ്രശംസ പിടിച്ചുപറ്റാൻ ഈ സിനിമക്ക് കഴിഞ്ഞു.[7][8]ബിജിബാൽ സംഗീതമിട്ട ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ സന്തോഷ് വർമ്മ, ജയഗീത എന്നിവർ കവിതയെഴുതി.[9] [10] [11]

[തിരുത്തുക]വേണു എന്ന കഥാപാത്രത്തെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചതിന് 17-ാമത് ഏഷ്യാനെറ്റ് ഫിലിം അവാർഡ്, 62-ാമത് ഫിലിം ഫെയർ അവാർഡ് സൗത്ത്, 2014 വനിത ഫിലിം അവാർഡ്, എന്നിവയുടെ മികച്ച നടനുള്ള അവാർഡ് മമ്മൂട്ടിക്ക് ലഭിച്ചു.[16][17][18] നാലാം സൗത്ത് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ മൂവി അവാർഡുകളിൽ മികച്ച നടനുള്ള അവാർഡിന് ഇദ്ദേഹം നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
രാമു കാര്യാട്ട് മൂവി അവാർഡുകളിൽ മികച്ച നടിക്കുള്ള പുരസ്കാരം ആശ ശരത്ത് നേടി. മികച്ച നടിക്കുള്ള ഫിലിം ഫെയർ പുരസ്കാരത്തിന് നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു. [19][20][21]
