മലബന്ധം
വിരേചന പ്രക്രിയയിലുള്ള മാറ്റങ്ങൾ മൂലം മലം ഉറച്ച് കട്ടിയായി സാധാരണ കാലയളവിൽ പോകാതിരിയ്ക്കുന്നതാണ് മലബന്ധം. ആഹാരത്തിന് ദഹന വ്യൂഹത്തിൽവച്ചു സംഭവിക്കുന്ന മാറ്റങ്ങളെ തുടർന്ന് വൻകുടലിൽ വച്ചാണ് മലം ഉണ്ടാകുന്നത്. മലവിസർജനത്തിനു നിദാനമായ റിഫ്ളക്സ് ആണ് ഡെഫിക്കേഷൻ റിഫ്ളക്സ്. മലദ്വാരത്തിലുള്ള മാംസപേശികൾ മലത്തിന്റെ പുറത്തേക്കുള്ള പോക്കിനെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നു. പ്രത്യേക നാഡികൾ ഈ റിഫ്ളക്സിനെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നു.s
ശരീരത്തിൽ അകത്തേക്ക് ആഹാരം പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നത് പോലെ പ്രധാനമാണ് പുറത്തേക്ക് പോകുന്നതും. മലത്തിന്റെ ലക്ഷണം നോക്കി പല രോഗങ്ങളും നിർണയിക്കാൻ സാധിക്കും.

കാരണങ്ങൾ
[തിരുത്തുക]പല കാരണങ്ങളാലും മലബന്ധം ഉണ്ടാകും. തെറ്റായ ആഹാരക്രമവും ദിനചര്യയുമാണ് പ്രധാന കാരണം. വൻകുടലിനു ചുരുങ്ങാനും വികസിക്കാനുമുള്ള ശേഷി നഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നത് കുട്ടികളിലും, കുടലിന്റെ മാംസപേശികൾക്കു ബലക്ഷയം സംഭവിക്കുന്നത് പ്രായം ചെന്നവരിലും മലബന്ധത്തിനു കാരണമാകും. കുടലിലുണ്ടാകുന്ന അർബുദം, നാഡികൾക്കുണ്ടാകുന്ന ക്ഷതങ്ങൾ ഇവയൊക്കെ മലബന്ധം ഉണ്ടാക്കാവുന്നതാണ്. ആഹാരത്തിൽ നാരുകൾ തീരെ കുറവായിരുന്നാൽ മലബന്ധത്തിന് സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്.

പരിഹാരം
[തിരുത്തുക]- നാരുകളടങ്ങിയ ആഹാരങ്ങൾ കഴിയ്ക്കുക (ഉദാ: തവിടു കളയാത്ത ധാന്യങ്ങൾ).
- കൂടുതൽ പഴങ്ങളും പച്ചക്കറികളും കഴിയ്ക്കുക.
- ധാരാളം വെള്ളം കുടിയ്ക്കുക.[2]
- വ്യയാമം ചെയുന്നതു ഗുണകരമാണ്.
- ആപ്പിൾ,ബീറ്റ്റൂട്ട്,ക്യാരറ്റ് എന്നിവകൾ കഴിക്കുക.
