ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഉത്തർപ്രദേശിൽ ഉള്ള ഒരു നഗരമാണ് നാനൗത. സഹാറൻപൂർ ജില്ലയിൽ ഉൾപെട്ട ഈ പട്ടണം, നാനൗത മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റിയുടെ ഭരണകേന്ദ്രം കൂടിയാണ്[1][2]. സഹാറൻപൂർ-ദില്ലി ഹൈവേയിൽ 32 കിലോമീറ്റർ സഹാറൻപൂരിൽ നിന്ന് വിട്ടാണ് ഈ നഗരം നിലകൊള്ളുന്നത്. നഗരത്തിലെ തെരുവ് ഭക്ഷണശാലകൾ സ്വാദിഷ്ടമായ വിഭവങ്ങളാൽ പേരുകേട്ടവയാണ്.[3] [4]
2011-ലെ സെൻസസ് പ്രകാരം, നാനൗതയിൽ താമസിക്കുന്ന 22,551 പേരിൽ 52.53 ശതമാനം പുരുഷന്മാരും 47.47 ശതമാനം സ്ത്രീകളുമാണ്[5]. ശരാശരി സാക്ഷരത 68.26 ശതമാനമാണ്.
