പാകിസ്താൻ അധിനിവേശ കശ്മീരിലെ കാരക്കോറം മേഖലയിലെ ഒരു ട്രേപ്സോയിഡൽ പർവതമാണ് ചോഗോലിസ. ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയർന്ന കൊടുമുടികളിൽ ചിലത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന കോൺകോർഡിയ മേഖലയിലെ ബാൾട്ടോറോ ഹിമാനിയ്ക്ക് സമീപമാണ് ഇത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. നിരവധി കൊടുമുടികളുള്ള ചോഗോലിസയുടെ തെക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറേ മുഖത്തെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയർന്ന കൊടുമുടിയായ ചോഗോലിസ I ഏകദേശം 7,665 മീറ്റർ (25,148 അടി) അടി ഉയരമുള്ളതാണ്. രണ്ടാമത്തെ ഉയരമുള്ള കൊടുമുടി വടക്കു കിഴക്കൻ വശത്തുള്ളതും 7,654 മീറ്റർ ഉയരമുള്ളതുമായ ചോഗോലിസ II ആണ്. 1892 ൽ മാർട്ടിൻ കോൺ‌വേ ഈ കൊടുമുടിക്ക് ബ്രൈഡ് പീക്ക് എന്നു പേരിട്ടിരുന്നു.[4]
