ഖമക്
ഇന്ത്യയിൽ, നാടോടി സംഗീതത്തിൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഒരു സംഗീതോപകരണമാണ് ഖമക്. ഇതിന് ഏൿതാരയോട് വളരെയടുത്ത സാദൃശ്യമുണ്ട്. ബംഗാൾ, ഒഡീഷ, വടക്കു കിഴക്കൻ ഇന്ത്യ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലാണ് ഈ ഉപകരണം കൂടുതലായി ഉപയോഗിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ബാവുൾ സംഗീതത്തിൽ. ഒരു വശത്തുമാത്രം തുകൽ കെട്ടിയ ഡ്രം ആണിത്. അതിൽ ഒരു സ്ട്രിംഗ് ഘടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. എൿതാരയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഒരേയൊരു വ്യത്യാസം, ഒരു കൈകൊണ്ട് പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന സ്ട്രിംഗ് വലിച്ചുനീട്ടാൻ മുളയൊന്നും ഉപയോഗിക്കില്ല എന്നതാണ്.[1]
സ്വഭാവവും ഉപയോഗവും
[തിരുത്തുക]ഖാമക് മൂന്ന് അടിസ്ഥാന ഭാഗങ്ങൾ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നതാണ്. പലപ്പോഴും മരം കൊണ്ട് നിർമ്മിച്ച ഒരു പാത്രം നിരവധി സ്ട്രിംഗുകളാൽ ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. സ്ട്രിംഗുകളുടെ പിരിമുറുക്കം ക്രമീകരിച്ച് ഇഷ്ടമുള്ള ശബ്ദമുണ്ടാക്കുന്നു. ബംഗാളി ബാവുൽ ഗാനങ്ങളിൽ ഇത് സാധാരണയായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു. കിഴക്കൻ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും പുരാതനമായ സ്ട്രിംഗ് ഉപകരണങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണിത്.
