Кочо Урдин — раскажувач, романописец и драмски писател. Роден е на 4 јули 1930 година во Струмица. Студирал литература во Белград и Скопје. Завршил Висока школа за политички науки во Белград. Бил директор на Народниот театар „Антон Панов“, основоположник на Работничкиот универзитет, Ликовната галерија, Интернационалната ликовна колонија и Музејот во Струмица. Член на ДПМ од 1962 година.
Добитник е на наградата на театарските игри „Војдан Чернодрински“.
