Vasilijus Andrejevičius Žukovskis (1783 m. vasario 2 d. Mišenskoje, Tulos gubernija – 1852 m. balandžio 24 d. Baden Badene[1]) – rusų romantizmo pradininkas,poetas ir vertėjas. Rusijos imperijos himno „Dieve, laimink Carą!“ žodžių autorius.
Biografija
[redaguoti | redaguoti vikitekstą]Vasilijus Andrejevičius Žukovskis gimė 1783 m. Mišenskoje kaime ir buvo neteisėtas bajoro Afanasijaus Bunino vaikas.[2] Dalyvavo kare su prancūzais. Į rusų kalbą vertė J.Gėtės, F.Šilerio, Dž.Bairono kūrinius ir graikų epinę poemą Odisėją. Dirbo būsimojo caro Aleksandro II mokytoju.
