Interdum hebdomadibus vel mensibus paucis, quo statinum consumebatur, imbecillitas musculorum observatur. Imbecillitas haec, myopathia dicta, motus corporis impedire queat, etiam renum functionem, si rhabdomyolysis (dissolutio structurarum musculorum) saeviat. Symptomata gravissima vel discontinuationem medicamenti pernecesse faciendi iubeat[3].
