Sancta Maria Magdalena

Nata N/A Magdalae Iudaeae
Mortua N/A fortasse in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume Franciae sive Ephesi Anatoliae
Index Sanctorum

Maria Magdalena,[1] seu Magdalene[2] (Graece Μαρία ἡ Μαγδαληνή; Hebraice מרים המגדלית‎‎; a Magdala oppido iuxta mare Galilaeae[3]) est persona Biblica.

Noli me tangere, tabula ab Alexandro Ivanov picta.

A Iesu septem daemones ex illa expulsi sunt. Eum cum aliis mulieribus comitata est, eum Hierosolymam secuta e longinquo Crucifixionem vidit, sepulturae affuit, matutino insequentis sabbatum diei tempore sepulcrum repperit vacuum, ei Iesus post resurrectionem primae apparuit et dixit illud "noli me tangere", ab eodem iussa est apostolis resurrectionem nuntiare. In quattuor Evangeliis duodeciens dicitur, plus quam plerique apostoli. Multi scriptores veteris christianitatis velut Hippolytus, Ambrosius Mediolanensis, Aurelius Augustinus eam memorant. Saeculis posteris apostola et apostola apostolorum dicta est. Sed etiam confuse de ea narratum est eademque aliis mulieribus Maria nominatis et peccatrice evangelii anonyma permutata est. Ab Ecclesia Catholica, Orthodoxa et quibusdam sectis protestantibus veneratur. Dies festus 22 Iulii est. Artifices eam fingunt unguentarium manu tenentem.
