Ingeniaria nuclearis est disciplina ingeniariae quae adhibitiones nucleorum atomicorum diffringendorum (fissio) aut nucleorum atomicorum componendorum (fusio), aut etiam adhibitiones aliarum rationum subatomicarum in principiis physicae nuclearis conditas tractat. Quae in subdisciplina fissionis nuclearis praesertim designationem, interactionem, curationemque systematum et elementorum sicut reactoria nuclearia, ergasteria atomica, et arma nuclearia comprehendit. Etiam amplectitur studium medicinae nuclearis aliarumque adhibitionum radiationis, praecipue radiationis ionizantis, salutis nuclearis, thermodynamicae transportationis, fomis nuclearis, et technologiae cognatae, dispositione iacturae radioactivae quaestionibusque proliferationis nuclearis non exclusis. Haec disciplina etiam certas proprietates ingeniariae chemicae et ingeniariae electricae amplectitur.
