(136199) Eris (-idis, f.; primum 2003 UB313 nominata, symbolum: ⯰)[1] est planetula ac corpora transneptuniana, cuius diametrus est circiter 2325 km. Inde magnitudine aequat Plutoni, sed pondere maius obiectum zonae Kuiperi videtur. Diametrum satis compertum habemus, postquam Eris ante stellam remotam migrans eius lucem obscuravit (mense Oct. 2010). Eris inventa est mense Octobri 2003, sed e photographemate data tunc incerta erant. Mense autem Decembri 2004 nova data inventionem certam fecere. Magnitudine Eridis astronomi coacti sunt, ut definitionem planetarum denuo cogitarent et novum genus planetularum instituerent. Inde Eris in numero planetularum habetur sicut Pluto.

Mense Septembri 2005 parva satelles inventa est quae circum Eridem orbita 14 dierum revolvitur et Dysnomia appellatur.
