Arnoldus Schoenberg (Vindobonae natus die 13 Septembris anno 1874; obiit Angelopoli in California die 13 Iulii anno 1951) fuit compositor et studiosus musicae Austriacus. Inspiratus expressionismo novum excogitavit musicae modum, dodecaphonum, qui modum toni evitat, cum omnes scalae gradus aequo pondere constituantur, ex quo serialismus ortus est.

Albanum Berg et Antonium Webern compositionem musicam docuit.

Schoenberg, natus in religionem Iudaicam, dum vixit, tum in Lutheranismum, tum in Romanum Catholicismum, tum iterum in Iudaismum se convertit.

Inter primum bellum mundanum ipse militiam voluntariam secutus est. Propter vexationes et leges nazismi contra Iudaeos latas, Schoenberg anno 1933 in Civitates Foederatas migravit. Corpus Arnoldi Schoenberg in Medio Sepulcreto Vindobonae sepelitum est.
