Aedipsus (Graece: Αιδηψός) est pristinus demus Euboeae (Δήμος Αιδηψού) in Graecia 6482 incolarum (status: 2010). Ab administratione reformata anno 2011 (vide: Libellus Callicratis) pars est Histiaeae-Aedepsi demi, cuius est "unitas popularis" (δημοτική ενότητα).[1]

80 ex 752 fontibus calidis Graeciae Aedipso siti sunt, quare est locus periegeseos celeber.[2]

Thermae antiquae Heracli dicatae circiter 3 chiliometris a hodierno loco "Lutra Aedepsi" (Λουτρά Αιδηψού) in septentriones versus sitae erant, quarum reliquiae adhuc videntur. Fontes sulphurei (38-76°) tot laborantes attrahebant, ut iam tertio saeculo a.C.n. aegris vectigal impositum est.[3] Sulla, cum in podagrae morbum incidit, thermas Aidepsi adiit[4], multi alii secuti sunt (inter alios antiquitate imperatores Hadrianus et Constantinus I, novo aevo Eleutherius Benizelus, Winston Churchill, Aristoteles Onases et Maria Callas).
