Acraephnia (Graece: Ακραιφνία) est vicus et pristinus demus Boeotiae in Graecia 3090 incolarum (status: 2010). Ab administratione reformata anno 2011 (vide: Libellus Callicratis) pars est Orchomeni demi, cuius est "unitas popularis" (δημοτική ενότητα).[1]

Historia

Acraephnium fuit civitas (polis) Graeciae antiquae in orientali Copaidis paludis ora sita. Reliquiae urbis circiter milia passuum a vico hodierno absunt. Sanctuarium Apollinis Acraephnii cum oraculo ibi situm erat. Ubi Alexander Magnus Thebas deleverat, ii, qui in Atticam transmigrare nequibant, quod seniores sive corpore confecti erant, Acraephnii sedes constituerunt.[2]

Vicus hodiernus olim Carditsa appellata est.
