스파이로 더 드래곤(Spyro the Dragon)은 인섬니악 게임스가 개발하고 소니 컴퓨터 엔터테인먼트가 플레이스테이션용으로 1998년 9월 9일 배급한 플랫폼 게임이다. 스파이로 시리즈 중 첫 번째 게임이다. 타이틀 캐릭터인 스파이로라는 이름의 어린 자주색 용과 그의 용 친구인 스팍스(Sparx)가 등장하며 용의 왕국을 여행하여, 다른 용들을 크리스털에 가둠으로써 5개의 드래곤 홈월드를 차지한 Gnasty Gnorc을 물리쳐야 한다. 스파이로 더 드래곤은 오픈 엔드 3D 플랫폼 게임으로, 플레이어는 보석류, 크리스털에 갇힌 드래곤, 도둑질 당한 용의 알 등 수집 가능한 아이템을 찾아야 한다.
