카스피호랑이 또는 페르시아호랑이는 카스피해 남안에서 중국 서부에 분포한다. 전체길이 2.7m 정도이고, 몸은 주황색을 띠어 아름답다. 배에는 긴 갈기가 나 있고, 무늬는 암갈색으로 가늘며 수가 많다. 고대 로마시대 검투장에서 사육되기도 했다. 현재 멸종된 것으로 알려져 있다.
