버튼(button), 또는 누름쇠는 눌러서 기계를 제어할 수 있도록 한 스위치의 일종이다. 버튼은 일반적으로 플라스틱이나 금속 등의 딱딱한 물질로 구성되어 있다.[1] 쉽게 누를 수 있도록 표면은 보통 평평하거나 사람의 손가락 또는 손을 편하기 받아들일 수 있는 모양으로 되어 있다. 버튼은 개폐기 형태인 경우도 있지만 개폐기 방식이 아닌 버튼의 경우 물리적인 특성상 눌리지 않은 상태로 돌아가기 위한 용수철이 필요하다.
