„In rot über silbernen Wellen eine Silberne Brücke, in deren Bogen ein goldenes Mühleisen schwebt. Über der Brücke ein gestürztes Schwert mit goldenem Griff, begleitet von zwei goldenen Ähren.“

Wappendeutung: Silberne Wellen und silberne Brücke kennzeichnen insbesondere die Kisse und die im Dorfbereich befindliche Brücke. Beide Symbole erklären die Entstehung des Dorfnamens:

Kissenbrück = das Dorf an den Kissenbrücken. Das goldene Mühleisen wiederum mit Brücke und Wellen verweist auf die im Ortsteil Hedwigsburg befindliche Fährmühle am Okerübergang.

Das gestürtzte Schwert kennzeichnet die einstige landesherrliche Ausstattung des Dorfes mit selbständiger Gerichtsbarkeit, deren Ausübung den jeweiligen Inhabern des Rittergutes oblag.

Die zwei goldenen Ähren sind die Kennzeichen des Bauerntums, der einst alleinigen Wirtschaftsgrundlage des Dorfes an der Brücke zu Kissenbrück.

Die Stiftung des gegenwärtig gültigen Wappens und Siegels bzw. die Erneuerung entstand auf Behördenerlass durch gesetzgeberischen Akt des Gemeinderates Anfang der 1950er Jahre.
