ეკლიპტიკა (ლათ. (linea) ecliptica < ძვ. ბერძნ. ἔκλειψις [eklipsis] — „დაბნელება“) — ცის სფეროს დიდი წრეწირი, რომელზეც ცის სფეროს ზედაპირთან იკვეთება ეკლიპტიკის სიბრტყე (დედამიწა-მთვარის სისტემის მასათა ცენტრზე. ამ უკანასკნელის სიჩქარის ვექტორსა და მზის ცენტრზე გამავალი სიბრტყე). მზის ცენტრი ცის სფეროზე ხილული მოძრაობისას, რაც განპირობებულია დედამიწის (მთვარესთან ერთად) ორბიტული მოძრაობით მზის გარშემო, ეკლიპტიკა მიჰყვება. ამიტომ ხშირად ეკლიპტიკას განსაზღვრავენ, როგორც ცის სფეროს დიდ წრეწირს, რომელზეც მიმდინარეობს მზის ხილული წლიური მოძრაობა ვარსკვლავებს შორის. ეკლიპტიკის სიბრტყე ცის ეკვატორის სიბრტყესთან ადგენს 23°27' კუთხეს. სახელწოდება ეკლიპტიკა წარმოდგება უძველეს დროშივე ცნობილი ფაქტიდან, რომ მზისა და მთვარის დაბნელებანი მხოლოდ მაშინ ხდება, როცა მთვარე ეკლიპტიკის სიბრტყის მახლობლადაა.
