BAJNA BEAT

BAJNA BEAT（バズナビート/バジナビート）は、バングラデシュの日本人二人組音楽グループ。日本とバングラデシュの架け橋としてバングラデシュを中心に音楽活動を行っている[1]。

メンバー

  • 渡辺麻恵（わたなべ まえ、1980年9月3日東京都大田区出身、B型）ボーカル担当。
  • 水谷俊亮（みずたに しゅんすけ、1985年4月7日奈良県香芝市出身、A型）ボーカル・ピアノ担当。

来歴

2016年結成。NGOエクマットラを通じて出逢い、2016年11月24日にバングラデシュでの文化イベントで初共演し、日バの架け橋となるべく音楽ユニットを結成。[2]

バングラデシュでは珍しい本格的なピアノ演奏と、演劇的要素を取り入れたステージ構成、そしてふたりの歌声のハーモニーが注目され、2017年4月のベンガル新年に、バングラデシュで最大級の音楽番組Robindro Soroborに出演し、同月、現地メディアEkattror TVによる特集がミリオンビューを達成した。[3][4]

2018年、初のオリジナル曲SonalyがツーリズムEXPOジャパンのバングラデシュブースの公式ソングとなった。この曲は渡辺が作詞、水谷が作曲をしている。[5][6]

2020年、東京オリンピックの日バ公式応援歌としてAKASHEYが選ばれた。[7]

日本とバングラデシュの架け橋となるべく、日本・バングラデシュの曲のカバーやオリジナル曲を歌い、日本文化の発信、メディアやイベントでのライブ活動、全国の学校でのライブ活動を行っている。2018年～2019年4月のベンガル新年に、東京池袋で行われたボイシャキメラにも出演している。[8]
