「プリズム・レインに包まれて」（ - つつまれて）は、杉山清貴8枚目のシングル。1989年5月17日にバップより発売された[2]。

解説

前作「渚のすべて/BOYS OF ETERNITY」（1988年7月・両A面）から10か月ぶりにリリース。

アルバム『here & there』が同日発売された。本作はカップリング曲とも同アルバムに収録されている為、シングルとしての売上は芳しくなく、杉山のシングルで初めてオリコンチャートTOP10入りが出来なかった。

第一生命保険「パスポート21」のCMソングとして使用された。

日本テレビ系「歌のトップテン」では、1989年6月5日放送時、「話題曲コーナー」で歌唱披露している。

本楽曲からしばらくの間、杉山は音楽番組出演時、ヘアスタイルをセミロング風に後ろ髪を長くして、イメージチェンジしていた。
