バルーン・ウルト
バルーン・ウルト（モンゴル語: Баруун−Урт、ᠪᠠᠷᠠᠭᠤᠨ
ᠤᠷᠲᠤ）は、モンゴル国東部の町で、スフバートル県の県都。町名は「西に長い」という意味で、バローン・オルトとも表記される。
町は周辺部と、バルーン・ウルト郡（ソム）を構成している。郡の面積は59平方キロ、人口は1万5549人で、人口密度は265人/1平方キロである（2008年）。この郡は周囲をスフバートル郡に囲まれている。
町の北13キロにトゥムルティーン・オボー亜鉛鉱山がある。

交通
[編集]一本の舗装していない滑走路をそなえたバルーン・ウルト空港があるが、ウランバートルから定期便は就航していない。
気候
[編集]ケッペンの気候区分ではステップ気候 (BSk) に属する。短い夏は涼しいが、冬は長く、非常に乾燥して寒さが厳しい。
