Porta Vercellina

Col nome di Porta Vercellina sono state designate, nel tempo, tre porte della città di Milano, ricavate rispettivamente all'interno del perimetro romano, medievale e spagnolo sulla direttrice che conduce a Vercelli.
- La Porta Vercellina, sita nell'attuale via Meravigli, all'angolo con via San Giovanni sul Muro, eretta nel I secolo e ricavata nelle mura romane.
- La Porta Vercellina, sita nell'attuale corso Magenta, all'angolo con via Carducci, eretta nel XII secolo e ricavata nelle mura medievali.
- La Porta Vercellina, sita nell'attuale piazzale Baracca, eretta nel XVII secolo e ricavata nelle mura spagnole, riedificata in forme neoclassiche nel XIX secolo e rinominata il 26 ottobre 1860 Porta Magenta, in onore della vittoria conseguita il 4 giugno 1859 dai franco-piemontesi nella Seconda guerra d'indipendenza italiana.
