Gaetano Marinelli (Siena, 18 gennaio 1838 – 1924) è stato un pittore italiano.
Biografia
[modifica | modifica wikitesto]Fu un esponente della corrente pittorica del purismo insieme con altri artisti senesi come Ricciardo Meacci e Alessandro Franchi; amico e seguace di quest'ultimo, collaborò alla maggior parte delle sue opere. Suoi lavori sono presenti per lo più a Siena nel Palazzo Pubblico, nel Santuario di Santa Caterina, nell'Oratorio di Santa Teresa e al Cimitero della Misericordia.
