La federazione (dal latino foedus, 'patto, alleanza, unione') è un ente costituito dall'associazione di più enti per eseguire scopi comuni.che, in tal modo, pur mantenendo la propria organizzazione, danno vita ad organi unitari per perseguire scopi comuni.
