Destroyer of Worlds è il decimo album in studio del gruppo musicale black metal svedese Bathory, pubblicato nel 2001 dalla Black Mark.

[modifica | modifica wikitesto]Il titolo dell'album prende il nome dalla famosa citazione di Robert Oppenheimer sulla bomba atomica:

Dal punto di vista stilistico, Destroyer of Worlds è una via di mezzo fra il viking metal del periodo 1988-1991 e il thrash metal degli album Requiem e Octagon, come si può sentire nelle canzoni "Bleeding", "109", "Death from Above", "Liberty & Justice", e "Kill Kill Kill".
