Pulau pankreas atau Pulau Langerhans adalah daerah pankreas yang mengandung sel-sel endokrin (penghasil hormon) yang ditemukan pada tahun 1869 oleh ahli anatomi patologi dari Jerman bernama Paul Langerhans.[1] Pulau pankreas membentuk 1 hingga 2% dari volume pankreas dan menerima 10-15% dari aliran darahnya.[2][3] Pulau pankreas diatur sesuai kepadatan pankreas manusia secara keseluruhan, dan berperan penting dalam proses metabolisme glukosa.[4]
