Media India terdiri dari beberapa jenis media komunikasi India: televisi, radio, sinema, surat kabar, majalah, dan situs web berbasis Internet. Beberapa media dikendalikan oleh perusahaan-perusahaan laba besar yang meraih pedanapatan dari iklan, langganan, dan penjualan material hak cipta. India juga memiliki industri musik dan film yang kuat. India memiliki lebih dari 70,000 surat kabar dan lebih dari 1600 saluran satelit (lebih dari 400 adalah saluran berita) dan merupakan pasar surat kabar terbesar di dunia, lebih dari 100 juta salinan dijual setiap hari.[1]
