Lionel Barrymore (nama lahir Lionel Herbert Blythe; 28 April 1878 – 15 November 1954) adalah seorang aktor panggung, layar lebar dan radio serta sutradara film Amerika.[1] Ia memenangkan Academy Award untuk Aktor Terbaik untuk penampilannya dalam A Free Soul (1931), dan masih dikenal oleh audien modern untuk peran karakter jahat Mr. Potter dalam film 1946 Frank Capra It's a Wonderful Life. Ia juga diingat sebagai Ebenezer Scrooge dalam siaran tahunan A Christmas Carol pada dua dekade terakhirnya. Ia juga dikenal karena memerankan Dr. Leonard Gillespie dalam sembilan film MGM Dr. Kildare, sebuah peran yang ia persembahkan ulang dalam enam film berikutnya yang berfokus pada Gillespie dan sebuah serial radio yang berjudul The Story of Dr. Kildare.
