Kisah Hidup Michael K adalah sebuah novel karya J. M. Coetzee. Michael K berhasil memenangkan Booker Prize pada tahun 1983. Berkisah tentang seorang pria bernama Michael K, yang melakukan perjalanan sulit dari Cape Town ke tempat kelahiran pedesaan ibunya, di tengah perang saudara fiktif selama era apartheid, pada tahun 1970-80an.
Besar kemungkinan terdapat hubungan antara Michael K dengan Josef K di The Trial karya Franz Kafka. Michael K juga memuat banyak referensi tentang Kafka, dan diyakini, "K" adalah penghargaan untuk Kafka sendiri. Perbandingan juga dibuat antara Michael K dengan novel karangan Heinrich von Kleist, Michael Kohlhaas, berdasarkan nama protagonis dan kesamaan plot, meskipun sering dikatakan bahwa karya Coetzee adalah sebuah respon antitesis.
