Kakap merah utara (Lutjanus campechanus) adalah spesies ikan kakap dari barat Samudera Atlantik termasuk Teluk Meksiko, di mana ia mendiami lingkungan yang terkait dengan terumbu. Spesies ini merupakan komoditas perikanan penting dan juga banyak dicari oleh pemacing sebagai ikan pancing.[2]
