Jozef Tiso (13 Oktober 1887 – 18 April 1947) adalah seorang pendeta Katolik Roma Slowakia, dan seorang politikus utama Partai Rakyat Slowakia. Antara 1939 dan 1945, Tiso menjadi kepala Republik Slowakia Pertama 1939–45, sebuah negara satelit Jerman Nazi dan ia tetap menjadi pendeta aktif sepanjang karier politiknya.[1] Setelah akhir Perang Dunia II, Tiso didakwa dan digantung karena pengkhianatan dan juga kejahatan perang serta kejahatan melawan kemanusiaan oleh Pengadilan Nasional di Bratislava.
