John Harold Ostrom (18 Februari 1928 – 16 Juli 2005) adalah seorang paleontolog asal Amerika Serikat yang merevolusionisasikan pemahaman modern dinosaurus pada 1960an. Seperti yang mula-mula diusulkan oleh Thomas Henry Huxley pada 1860an,[1][2] Ostrom menunjukkan bahwa dinosaurus lebih mirip unggas besar tak terbang ketimbang kadal.
