Douglas TBD Devastator

Douglas TBD Devastator adalah seorang pembom torpedo dari Angkatan Laut Amerika Serikat, memerintahkan pada tahun 1934, pertama terbang pada tahun 1935 dan memasuki layanan pada tahun 1937.

Pada saat itu, itu adalah pesawat paling canggih yang terbang untuk USN dan mungkin untuk setiap angkatan laut di dunia. Namun, langkah cepat pengembangan pesawat terjebak dengan itu, dan pada saat serangan Jepang di Pearl Harbor TBD sudah usang. Ini dilakukan baik dalam beberapa pertempuran awal, tetapi dalam Pertempuran Midway, Devastators diluncurkan terhadap armada Jepang dan hampir seluruhnya hancur.
