Camille Rosalie Claudel (pengucapan bahasa Prancis: [kamij klodɛl] (
simak); 8 December 1864 – 19 October 1943) adalah seorang pematung Prancis yang dikenal karena karya figuratifnya dalam perunggu dan marmer. Dia meninggal dalam ketidakjelasan relatif, tetapi kemudian mendapatkan pengakuan atas orisinalitas dan kualitas karyanya.[1][2] Subjek dari beberapa biografi dan film, Claudel terkenal dengan patung-patungnya termasuk The Waltz dan The Mature Age.[3]
Museum Camille Claudel nasional di Nogent-sur-Seine dibuka pada tahun 2017. Claudel adalah rekan lama pematung Auguste Rodin, dan Musée Rodin di Paris memiliki ruangan yang didedikasikan untuk karya-karyanya.
Patung-patung yang dibuat oleh Claudel juga disimpan di koleksi beberapa museum besar termasuk Musée d'Orsay di Paris, Institut Seni Courtauld di London, Museum Nasional Wanita dalam Seni di Washington, DC, Museum Seni Philadelphia,[4] dan J. Museum Paul Getty di Los Angeles.[5]
