Belopa adalah sebuah kecamatan yang juga merupakan ibu kota Kabupaten Luwu, Sulawesi Selatan, Indonesia.

Belopa adalah ibu kota baru Kabupaten Luwu, Sulawesi Selatan. Nama Belopa ini termasuk dikenal pada tahun 1960-an. Sebelumnya desa Belopa ini dikenal dengan nama La Belopa, yang bahasa daerah setempat berarti "pelepah sagu" atau "gaba-gaba". Belopa resmi menjadi ibu kota Kabupaten Luwu sejak 13 Februari 2006 diresmikan oleh Gubernur Sulawesi Selatan Amien Syam. Kabupaten Luwu menjadikan kota Belopa selaku ibu kota, setelah memindahkan ibu kota dari Palopo, karena Palopo menjadi kota otonomi, hasil pemekaran dari Kabupaten Luwu, sehingga Kabupaten Luwu harus memindahkan ibu kota ke sebelah selatan, sekitar 50 km dari Kota Palopo. Belopa terletak di pinggir jalan raya Trans-Sulawesi, suatu kecamatan yang terletak di antara Kota Palopo dan Kota Makassar.
