Bahasa Kabola

Bahasa Kabola (klz) dituturkan di Desa Kabola, Kecamatan Kabola, Kabupaten Alor, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Bahasa Kabola dituturkan oleh masyarakat Kabola dan sebagian kecil dari masyarakat Dulolong. Bahasa Kabola tersebar di beberapa desa yang ada di Kabupaten Alor, yaitu di Desa Kopidil yang terletak di sebelah barat Desa Kabola; di Desa Pantai De Ere di sebelah utara Desa Kabola; di Desa Lawahing, Kecamatan Kabola; dan di Kecamatan Teluk Mutiara. Menurut pengakuan penutur, di sebelah selatan Desa Kabola, yaitu Desa Alim Mebung merupakan wilayah tutur Bahasa Abui. Bahasa Kabola merupakan sebuah bahasa sendiri jika dibandingkan dengan bahasa-bahasa di sekitarnya, misalnya dengan Bahasa Kamang, Bahasa Kaera, dan Bahasa Kiraman dengan persentase perbedaan di atas 81%.[1]
