Ashikaga Yoshikatsu
Ashikaga Yoshikatsu (足利 義勝, 19 Maret 1434 – 16 Agustus 1443) adalah shogun ke-7 dari keshogunan Ashikaga yang menjabat dari 1442 sampai 1443 pada zaman Muromachi di Jepang. Yoshikatsu adalah putra dari shogun ke-6 Ashikaga Yoshinori.[1]
Peristiwa-peristiwa signifikan yang terjadi pada zaman tersebut saat Yoshikatsu menjadi syogun:[2]
- 12 Juli 1441 (Kakitsu 1, hari ke-24 dari bulan ke-6): Syogun Yoshinori dibunuh pada usia 48 tahun oleh Akamatsu Mitsusuke; dan tak lama setelah itu, putranya yang berusia 8 tahun, Yoshikatsu, menjadi Syogun baru.[3]
- 1442 (Kakitsu 2): Yoshikatsu dikonfirmasikan sebagai syogun.[2]
- 16 Agustus 1443 (Kakitsu 3, hari ke-21 dari bulan ke-7): Syogun Yoshikatsu meninggal pada usia 10 tahun. Saat mengendarai kuda. Ia mendapatkan luka yang fatal akibat terjatuh dari seekor kuda. Ia menjadi syogun hanya selama tiga tahun. Saudaranya yang berusia 8 tahun, Yoshinari, kemudian menjadi syogun.[4] Beberapa tahun setelah ia menjadi syogun, Yoshinari mengubah namanya menjadi Yoshimasa, dan ia lebih dikenal dengan nama tersebut.[5]
