Abjad Pahlavi Prasasti adalah bentuk terawal abjad Pahlavi yang diketahui dibuktikan secara tertulis pada prasasti-prasasti yang ditulis pada masa pemerintahan Mihrdat I (memerintah 171–138 SM). Bukti awal lainnya termasuk tulisan pada koin-koin Kekaisaran Partia dan prasasti-prasasti batu Kekaisaran Sasaniyah dan tokoh terkenal lainnya seperti Kartir.
